1. Family Funfair at Stanley Park
Nothing quite screams fun like a funfair, right? If you are hoping to keep the kids entertained this weekend, you’re in luck, as the Family Funfair is coming to Stanley Park. From Friday 17th to Tuesday 28th July, you can take the kids to enjoy a wide variety of rides, such as the Supreme Waltzer, Sizzler Twister and the Sky Rider. They can even experience a donkey ride! Entry is free, and you will receive 3 free ride tickets with every 5 you purchase.
2. Children’s Fun Day at Ness Gardens
The Children’s Fun Day will take place on 22nd July at Ness Gardens, offering an amazing day for all the family. You can bring along a picnic or have a BBQ in the garden, and you can even experience the Wildlife Family Trail, Mountain Monkey’s Climbing Wall, falconry displays, face painting, pony rides and more. It’s £3.50 for children aged between 5-16 years old, and children under five are free to enter. The normal garden admission rate applies to adults.
3. Tennis Fun at Speke Hall
Why not grab some family and friends to enjoy a spot of tennis at Speke Hall. Thingwall Tennis Club has launched Tennis Fun, which provides fantastic coaching tips for beginners. All equipment is provided and all you need to pay is a £1 donation per player. The event will run for multiple dates, so visit the National Trust website for further information.
4. Secret Garden Cinema
Have you heard of Secret Garden Cinema? Well, you won’t want to miss out on this incredible experience, as you can enjoy classic movies whilst you take in Liverpool’s iconic skyline. Sit under the stars as you watch much-loved movies. You can enjoy the outdoor cinema on the rooftop of Queen Square Car Park from Thursday to Saturday from July to September. Single deckchairs are priced at £15 per person, and you can even book a Love Seat for £40 for two people.
5. Captain Pool’s Adventures at Chavasse Park
Are you a budding Swashbuckler? Look no further than Captain Pool’s Adventures at Chavasse Park in Liverpool One. You can join the theatrical Love History team every day from 11am-5pm between Wednesday 22nd to 31st July to enjoy stories, performances, crafts, interactive games and event maritime songs. There will also be a selection of fantastic rides for all the family, too.
