Alma de Cuba Win Best Bar Award

We are very proud to announce that Alma de Cuba came away with the best bar in Liverpool award at the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival Awards, which saw the crème de la crème of Liverpool’s food and drink scene come together for a fantastic night.

The Liverpool Food and Drink Festival Awards are held annually in the city centre, to honour and celebrate the best of the best in Liverpool’s hospitality scene.

Thousands of food lovers descended on Sefton Park earlier this month for the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival, which is now in its 10th year and this awards ceremony was held to honour those who took part.

A Wonderful Night of Celebration

The evening was held at our very own Alma de Cuba and hosted by Simon ‘Rossie’ Ross, Breakfast Show Presenter on RadioCity2 105.9 FM.

Honouring the city’s fantastically creative independents, the ceremony honours local talent and hardworking businesses in style and this year it was more dazzling than ever.

The talent and flair of Liverpool’s independent traders are split into categories and the general public were asked to vote on their favourites.

Anybody who visits Liverpool can see that we are a city of people who enjoy their food and we love to celebrate hard work, dedication and contribution to our beloved city.

With so many great eateries providing innovative, quality produce, it’s easy to see why the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival is such a success and why those in the industry deserve recognition.

Alma de Cuba wins the best bar in Liverpool award

For a long time, Alma de Cuba has been the city’s number one spot for eating and drinking. We are renowned for being the go-to venue for the ultimate night out and the best bar in Liverpool hands down.

Formerly standing as 1700s St. Peters Catholic Church, the unique venue offers guests a truly unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Alma de Cuba has attracted people through its doors with an enticing menu, fabulous interior décor and the electric Friday and Saturday night entertainment.  Diners and drinkers have long enjoyed the lavishly decorated space and we believe the atmosphere and service are what makes Alma de Cuba the best bar in Liverpool to date.

Our cocktails are famous, we mix a delicious Pornstar Martini shaken up from Finlandia Vodka, Passoa passion fruit liqueur, Licor 43 vanilla liqueur passion fruit puree, topped with prosecco.

Since Signature Living have put their mark on the venue, we have enhanced the events schedule, the introduction of exciting Samba Afternoon Tea and our mystical Voodoo Saturday’s.

The stylish contrast of contemporary Cuban culture and opulent original features including the awe-inspiring alter and beautiful stained class windows, Alma de Cuba has attracted locals and visitors to the city for a number of years and we couldn’t be happier to have won the best bar in Liverpool award this year.
