Highlights from Our Unforgettable Dixie Dean Hotel Launch Party

This month, we launched The Dixie Dean Hotel, completing the world’s first ‘Football Quarter’. Sitting opposite The Shankly Hotel, The Dixie Dean celebrates the life of Shankly’s friend and fellow football legend, William Ralph “Dixie” Dean.

Of course, we marked the occasion in true Signature style with an unforgettable party! The night followed a glamorous 1930s theme in honour of Dixie Dean’s era of the Beautiful Game.

So, join us as we take a look back at a very special night…

Guests Arrived in Style

We welcomed Everton legends throughout the evening, including goalkeeper Neville Southall. Ian Snodin and Pat Van Den Hauwe – also known as ‘Psycho Pat’ also joined us for the special event.

We were proud to have the second best striker (the first being Dixie Dean, of course) in Everton’s history, Graeme Sharp join us for the big opening night.

Signature Living staff dressed to impress for the occasion.
Working closely with us on the hotel, the Dean family, including Liverpool Echo’s Head of Sport, David Prentice joined us for the fabulous launch night.
The party wouldn’t be complete without our friend Brian Phillips, ‘Mr Old Hall Street’.

An Array of Entertainment

We even had our team dress up in vintage-style kits for the big event!

Our Signature girls were styled with glam 30s hairstyles and make-up.

X Factor favourite Anthony Russell sang his heart out for our guests!

Lawrence Kenwright’s mum, Marion up on the dance floor enjoying the entertainment!

Plenty of Celebrations

And we’re open! Dixie Dean’s daughter Barbara proudly cut the opening ribbon.
