We are extremely excited to announce our huge expansion plans and major recruitment drive which will create a staggering 1,500 hospitality jobs across the country.
These new positions will be a mix of part-time and full-time roles across the UK, including Belfast, Cardiff, Liverpool and Preston. From Head Office opportunities, to hospitality jobs and event specialists, there are so many exciting prospects opening up and we can’t wait to share them with you!
An Exciting Future
Now one of the largest companies in the North West, our portfolio is rapidly growing from what started as just one apartment on Victoria Street in Liverpool. Today, we operate five hotels, four of which are in Liverpool and one in the Welsh capital, Cardiff. These are the famous 30 James Street – The Home of the Titanic, Arthouse and Signature Hotel in the heart of Liverpool, alongside the historic Exchange Hotel in Cardiff.
This huge recruitment expansion is due to a number of exciting developments nearing their completion. This summer will see the company open a number of brand-new hotels including The George Best Hotel in Belfast. These plans will go alongside the completion of the second phase of the luxurious Exchange Hotel in Cardiff.
The Exchange Hotel in CardiffOpportunities will be announced for jobs in hospitality-based positions such as bar, restaurant and concierge staff, reception roles, wedding and events coordinators, as well as a range of managerial positions. There will also be roles at Head office in construction, sales and social media.
We will also be embarking on a fantastic apprenticeship and mentoring scheme, personally led by chairman Lawrence Kenwright, it will give 100 school leavers a start on the career ladder.
Speaking recently about the company expansion, Lawrence expressed his delight for the future of Signature: “Signature Living is entering an era of dynamic growth and with that comes major investment into recruiting people to help us maintain our position as the UK’s most innovative and fastest-growing hotel developer and operator.
“I am particularly pleased about the expansion of our apprenticeship programme, which will be focused on young people not currently engaged in employment, education or training.”
Signature Living currently employ 850 people and approximately 650 sub-contractors. These new positions will increase the company’s UK workforce to a staggering 3,000.
