Signature Living Careers Hosts Successful First Recruitment Day

Signature Living hosted its first ever recruitment day on Wednesday to search for the five newest members of the sales team. Due to the rapid growth and continuing success of Signature’s hotels and apartments across Liverpool, we are always on the lookout for talented and ambitious new recruits to join our quickly expanding family.

Having revolutionised the accommodation and hospitality market, Signature Living is constantly growing. A move which requires fresh recruits to accommodate the increase in business, the assessment day gave applicants the chance to experience the fun, fast-paced and unique environment of life at Signature Living from the start of their journey here.

Choosing the right people to deliver the outstanding customer experience that Signature Living is known for is so important, the highest calibre of staff helps to ensure that our guests receive the best care possible throughout their journey with us.

The fun-filled day saw hopefuls put their sales techniques to the test, giving them 15 minutes to prepare a sales pitch on the subject they know best – themselves. Reservations Manager Matt led the presentations, telling the packed room about his passion for typography and graphic design and what it is that makes him perfect for his role.

Our sales team work hard to make sure everything is in place for when you come to visit, ensuring you have reservations at our top restaurants, helping you to pick a spa treatment, assisting with tourist activities around the city and advising on Liverpool’s iconic nightlife.

Candidates were also tasked with creating a mood board that they think represented Signature Living and its values. Suzanne McEldowney, Head of Accommodation, offered a… creative take on the task, demonstrating Signature Living’s fun, exciting and quality-centric values to the hopefuls.

Having just been awarded a place on The Workplace Wellbeing Charter, Signature Living is dedicated to providing our employees with ongoing training and an amazing support network of colleagues and management. With talent maps completed after six months to plan for future progression, new job roles advertised internally and an incredible opportunity to earn Customer Service and Business Admin NVQs in collaboration with the City of Liverpool College.
