This November, one of the most technically gifted DJs is coming to the Invisible Wind Factory and we can’t wait! The founder of Ram Records and a leading light in the drum and bass movement, Andy C will be taking the headline spot during what promises to be an electric night in this stunning venue. From sneaking into raves as a thirteen-year-old boy, to the glamorous terraces of super club Space in Ibiza, Andy C’s journey to become DJ royalty has been a long and fascinating one. This is certainly a highlight when it comes to what’s on in Liverpool this November.

Tainted Love Halloween Special

Where: Camp and Furnace

When: 2 November

Next up in our guide to what’s on in Liverpool this November is an retro Halloween party. It may be technically passed Halloween, but Camp and Furnace are throwing the ultimate 80s party, with a spooky twist. It’s the perfect excuse to dress up and really celebrate the last few days of the scariest time of the year. You can expect to hear all the biggest and best hits from the 80s, as well as live music from their band and showstopping DJs. As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be scary themed cocktails, a spine-tingling makeover glitter station, and 100s of Tainted Love pin badges.

Return to Williamson Tunnels this Halloween

Take a journey down to Williamson Tunnels this Halloween and prepare for a spooky night full of the very best house, bass, tech and garage music around. Built in the 1800s, the Williamson Tunnels Heritage Site is a labyrinth of caves in the heart of Liverpool. Dark and mysterious, this promises to be one of the highlights of what’s on in Liverpool this month. Don’t forget, the dress code is black, and they are encouraging face paints!

Discover the Upside Down at Scouser Things

When: 2 November

Liverpool’s ultimate 80’s Halloween show returns to Constellations this November to celebrate the biggest and best breakout sci-fi hit series. Take a trip to the Upside Down and delve into the wonderful and spooky world of Stranger Things. You’re invited back in time to Hawkins’ Middle School’s Snow Ball Prom to bust some ghosts and some moves this Halloween. A highlight of what’s on in Liverpool, expect amazing scenery, interactive set pieces, amazing entertainment and a live improvised episode from Liverpool’s leading comedy group, Some People.

Sprinkle Some Stardust at Garlands

When: 3 November

The amazing Stardust is back at Garlands, featuring a huge line up of deep/soulful house, disco, funky house, house and retro DJs. With a headline set from French producer and DJ, Dimitri From Paris and support from Purple Disco Machine, The Reflex, Melon Bomb and Nick the Record. ENRG Presents Bonobo, Denis Sulta and More

ENRG is returning to Bramley Moore Dock this November for a one-off day party at a brand new warehouse venue. The line up features huge names such as Bonobo, Denis Sulta, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Denonai and many more, playing the very best disco, electronic and house music. Renowned as being one of the most electrifying events in Liverpool, don’t miss out on this one.

Look up in Wonder at the River of Light Fireworks

When: 4 November

Next up in our guide to what’s on in Liverpool is the spectacular River of Light festival. Taking place on Sunday 4 November, head down to the Waterfront to catch the firework spectacular with a wonderful musical soundtrack. Acting as the grand finale for the China Dream cultural season in Liverpool, there will be art installations, street theatre, family activities and food and drink stalls. Tuck into delicious food and drink as you enjoy the incredible fireworks display all along the water’s edge, and from huge barges floating along the Mersey.

A 60s Icon Returns to Liverpool

Queen Extravaganza Will Rock You!

If you’re a Queen fanatic this is a perfect event for you. Hear all of the amazing band’s greatest hits performed live by the official Queen tribute, hand picked by Roger Taylor and Brian May. Described by Taylor as ‘a rock celebration in the royal tradition’, Queen Extravaganza have already played over 160 dates across the world. Taking place in the impressive Philharmonic Hall, this performance is sure to get you belting out Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of your lungs.

Get Psychedelic with Steve Davis and Kavus Torabi

Where: 24 Kitchen Street

When: 9th November

Legendary snooker player turned DJ, Steve Davis and his musical partner Kavus Torabi are coming to Liverpool for an epic 3-hour lesson in all things psychedelic. From esoteric disco, to techno and a few things in between, prepare to get wavy with Steve and Kavus in the Baltic Triangle’s famous 24 Kitchen Street venue.

Not Your Standard Movie Night

When: 10 November

The legendary ASBO cinema is back at Camp and Furnace and this time they are screening the all-time classic musical favourite, Mamma Mia. Expect mass singalongs, dance offs, popcorn wars, themed cocktails, themed photo booths and dress up stations, confetti cannons and prizes for the very best Mamma Mia inspired outfits. Giving the conventional cinema the middle finger, don’t expect a standard movie night at ASBO Cinema, bad behaviour is compulsory!

Step Back in Time to the Roaring 20s

Get glammed up and gorgeous for an afternoon in the roaring 20s. Shimmy your way to Cunard House for a luxurious afternoon tea, complete with delicate finger sandwiches, sweet treats and scones, before you party like it’s a Gatsby get-together in 1920s America. Prepare for Aquaria to Pound the Runway

Start your engines! The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10, AQUARIA is officially sashaying into Liverpool to showcase her charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. Get dressed up to the nines and strut down to Fusion to witness the fiercest queen of the year. She will be performing with her American Dancers, supported by the UK Klub Kids. You better werk!

Sunshine and Smiles it’s Benidorm Live!

Where: Liverpool Empire Theatre

When: 12 – 17 November

Benidorm is returning for a unique stage show and you’re all invited! Starring Jake Canuso (Mateo), Janine Duvitski (Jacqueline), Adam Gillen (Liam), Sherrie Hewson (Joyce Temple-Savage), Shelley Longworth (Sam) and Tony Maudsley (Kenneth), the official world premiere of Derren Litten’s smash-hit ITV comedy will be bringing sunshine and smiles to Liverpool in the stage debut production of the hugely popular TV show. ITV’s award-winning comedy celebrates a decade of all-inclusive hilarity, having followed the ensemble cast of holiday makers and staff for nine series since it first broadcast in 2007, we can’t wait to catch up with our favourite character again.

‘When the Going Gets Tough’ Star Returns

When: 13 November

British soul icon Billy Ocean is coming to Liverpool to perform the best of his greatest hits and all-time favourite tracks. The biggest selling black recording star Britain has ever produced, he has sold over a staggering 30 million records in his lifetime to date. Expect to hear massive hits like ‘When the Going Gets Tough’, ‘Caribbean Queen’ and ‘There’ll Be Sad Songs’ during his showstopping performance.

The Tea Street Band Live!

Where: District

When: 15 and 16 November

Famous in Liverpool for playing unforgettable live shows, The Tea Street Band are coming to District, set in the Baltic Triangle. Having just released details of their new album ‘Frequency’, the cult Liverpool band’s music is driven by melody and propulsive hooks that grab you from the start and build up to a euphoric rush. Like any great second album, ‘Frequency’ is the sound of a band who have found their sound whilst constantly pushing for more and we can’t wait hear it live.

Rick Astley is Coming to Liverpool

Where: Liverpool Echo Arena

We knew Rick was Never Gonna Give Up on music, and this month he is finally coming to Liverpool to play the Echo Arena for one night only. Get Festive at the Rock n’ Roll Panto

When: 24th November – 19th January

The famous Rock n’ Roll Panto is returning for another year of festive fun for all the family, and this time the show is all about The Snow Queen. With a multi-talented cast including the notorious dame, Francis Tucker and the master of mischief Adam Keast will bring audiences to their feet to dance, cheer and avoid a soaking!

Singalong to Love Actually In Concert

Where: Philharmonic Hall

When: 27 November

Really get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy the festive classic Love Actually with a live orchestra in the spectacular Philharmonic Hall. Directed by Richard Curtis and originally released in 2003, the story follows ten interweaving plots, centred around love at Christmas time. Featuring an all star cast including Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Martine McCutcheon, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley Rowan Atkinson, Martin Freeman, and many more. The Novello Orchestra will perform Craig Armstrong’s evocative score at these shows, with the film being projected onto a huge screen.
